Felabeat is a dream come true. A dream to put together a band to give tribute to the wonderful musical world created by Fela Kuti and by all the artists who learned and followed from the same seed.
It started with an ad on a popular Italian website to search for musicians to form a band and ended up with a full ensemble of 11 passionate spokepersons of the Afrobeat word.
From funk to Latin, from cumbia to Middle Eastern sounds, Felabeat are a musical, cultural and vital journey.
